Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

This policy explains, separately from our main Privacy Policy, how we handle consumer health data, as required under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.

This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we collect. Where the two overlap on health data, this one governs.

What counts as consumer health data

When you take the Osmi quiz, this includes your answers about how you feel, your symptoms, and your health goals, and anything that suggests a health condition, including thyroid conditions like Hashimoto's or hypothyroidism.

Where it comes from

We collect it directly from you, through the quiz and any forms you fill out. We never buy consumer health data from data brokers.

Why we collect it

Only to personalize your quiz results and plan, provide and improve the Service, and communicate with you about your plan. We do not use it to build advertising audiences or target ads to you or anyone else.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run the Service. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with advertising or marketing platforms, including Meta, for any purpose.

Your rights

You can confirm what we've collected, access it, withdraw your consent at any time, and have it deleted, including from any service provider we've shared it with. Email hello@osmihealth.co with "Consumer health data request" in the subject line.

Geofencing

We don't use geofencing around any healthcare facility to collect your data or send you messages, and we never will.

How to contact us

For any question or request about consumer health data, email hello@osmihealth.co.
